Startup Canada partnered with the Embassy of Israel to further promote, celebrate and educate the startup community on the importance of women entrepreneurship globally. The Canada-Israel Joint Pitch Competition, as part of the Canada-Israel Women Entrepreneurs Program! Enter to win $2000 CAD and take the first step to grow globally.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be part of a women-led startup in order to apply (open to any and all sectors and industries). The judging criteria will focus on answering one important question, �What is the overall contribution of your business to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?� To help answer this question, our panel of judges will assess your business under the following criteria.\\All ways of innovation are welcome: new methods, processes, governance models, social impact initiatives, and technologies.

How to participate?

  • Fill out the application form before November 12 at 11:59pm ET.
  • Once you have completed the application, our selection committee will adjudicate all the applications
  • You will receive communication by email on November 17 if your application has been approved to move you on to the final stageChosen finalists will be provided with a detailed briefing going through the next steps and timelines.
  • The final round will include�live 90 seconds pitches�on Zoom where you will have the opportunity to receive direct feedback from judges on your pitch. This will take place on November 25, 2021. This pitch will be verbal i.e. without a pitch deck. However, you can show your product (if you have one) if you wish to.*
