Y Combinator has announced registration for Startup School 2022, a live, online course where YC Group Partners and successful YC founders teach you how to build a billion-dollar company. This will be the first Startup School to feature in-person meetups and talks in over a hundred cities around the world since the pandemic.
The course will run for 7 weeks, from Monday, June 27th to Wednesday, August 10th.
For the past three years, Startup School has been run remotely due to the global pandemic. The last live event was held in the summer of 2019 before COVID-19.
Application Requirements
- The course is free and open to everyone, starting June 27, 2022.
- You don’t need to have a startup or even a startup idea yet; Startup School is a great place to develop one.
Program Details
- Talks from YC's most successful founders, including Amjad and Haya Masad (Replit) and Blake Scholl (Boom).
- For the first time, these talks will be hosted live on Zoom, allowing participants to ask questions and engage with speakers.

- Aspiring Founders: For those exploring startup ideas.
- Active Founders: For those already working on their startup.
YC will integrate its co-founder matching site, the largest in the world, into the course. With over 30,000 founders and 70,000 matches, YC will also host meetups and speed-dating events for people looking to meet potential co-founders.
YC is also planning hundreds of in-person meetups and talks in dozens of cities worldwide. Some of the most successful YC alumni will host large-scale meetups at their offices, featuring talks and networking opportunities.
